Recent developments in Armenia and Artsakh have deeply affected us, leaving a profound wound in our hearts. Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt concerns are constantly with our beloved Motherland. Despite the pain, now more than ever, we must reaffirm our identity and purpose. As bearers of Armenian values in Sacramento, it is our duty to make a positive impact through every available means – preserving and strengthening our Christian faith, our ethnic identity and heritage, our unique culture and language, our close-knit community, and cherished traditions.

In this spirit, the Parish Council of St. James Armenian Church and the organizing committee of the 76th Sacramento Armenian Food Festival have decided that the Sacramento Armenian Food Festival scheduled for October 14, 2023, will proceed as planned. We invite each and every one of you to actively participate, volunteer your time, offer sponsorship, and join us in celebrating our cuisine, music, and culture. These are overpowering expressions of the unbreakable will of the Armenian people. Through our unity, we consciously ensure our community thrives and passes down the best of our heritage to our children.

A portion of the proceeds from the Food Festival will be dedicated to providing assistance to our compatriots in Armenia.
